WNC Hurricane Relief
WSOE hosted a benefit show on Monday, October 7 to raise money for western North Carolina communities impacted by Hurricane Helene. The daylong broadcast featured live performances from North Carolina artists such as Uglow, bedrumor, Melodramatic, Ali and Andi, and more.

All monetary donations will go directly to Rural Organizing and Resilience (ROAR), a grassroots mutual aid organization based in western North Carolina.

Rural Organizing and Resilience formed in Madison County, NC in the Spring of 2017 in response to the need for a rural voice working for all who call these mountains home. ROAR works to strengthen connections and respect among all people in our mountain communities by countering systems of oppression through education, outreach, empowerment and mutual aid.
