The Disaster Queers

The Disaster Queers offers deep dives into queer and trans history alongside mental health impacts (within the queer community & acceptance), my personal experiences with theatre and how that has shaped me as a person, general and pop culture/media/societal realities of being queer. Also, more specifically diving into butch history and how I’ve overcome shame and guilt of being a genderqueer butch lesbian and how that relates to my very religious upbringing, and religion/spirituality in general in relation to queerness. This podcast will be informative, full of laughter, educational moments, evaluation of ideas, connections, questions, ideas, and personal experiences shared.
