GENERAL MANAGER

Ahron Frankel (any pronouns)

Ahron Frankel is a third year Strategic Communications student from Baltimore, MD. He enjoys photography, hiking, and going to local shows. He is the current General Manager of WSOE and hosts Frequencies From Frankel, which usually plays various subgenres of indie rock and electronic music.

PROGRAM DIRECTOR

Lily Andresen-Simmons (they/them)

Lily Andresen-Simmons is a junior from Hendersonville, NC who is majoring in Anthropology and Public Policy. They enjoy being outside and reading, especially in the mountains of their home. At WSOE, they work on scheduling automated programming when there are no active DJ shows. Lily has a show here called Lune Tunes, which usually plays some mix of folk/rock/indie.

MUSIC DIRECTOR

Mason Carter (they/them)

Mason Carter is a senior from Nashville, TN majoring in sociology and minoring in poverty studies. They constantly listen to music and especially enjoy UK-based electronic genres such as jungle, 2-step, and trip-hop. Their radio show, Aquarium Electronica, has been running on WSOE for almost 2 years. As music director, they’re especially excited to update WSOE’s sounds for the 2024-25 school year and further establish the station as the only alternative.

PERSONNEL DIRECTOR

Keely Platts (she/her)

Keely Platts is a senior from Charlotte, NC, majoring in CTA and Journalism. Keely is currently the Personnel Director for WSOE, and has loved training all the new DJs! In her free time she loves to listen to music, and hang out with friends.

OUTREACH DIRECTOR

Charlotte Pfabe (she/her)

Charlotte Pfabe is a second-year Communications Fellow at Elon University, studying broadcast and multimedia journalism, with a minor in music recording arts and production. At WSOE, Charlotte currently works as the Outreach Director and hosts her own show, Hint of Noise, where she plays some of her weekly favorites. Charlotte is from Annapolis, Maryland and loves playing guitar and discovering new music when listening to other WSOE shows.

PRODUCTION DIRECTOR

Camryn Banks (they/she)

Camryn Banks is from Charlotte, NC and is a second year CTA student. They absolutely adore WSOE and has loved this semester as Production Director.  She loves indie, 60s R&B, chill rap, and alternative music. Camryn wants to continue Dweller Productions next Fall and is incredibly excited for more experiences at WSOE!

Max Wallace (he/him)

Max Wallace, Elon class of 2026, is a Journalism major with a Statistics minor. He currently serves as the Sports Director for WSOE. Max enjoys watching and talking sports with his peers when he is not on the microphone.

CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Sammy Silins (she/her)

Sammy Silins, Elon class of 2026, is from Montgomery County, Maryland and is studying business specializing in project management. She is passionate about graphic design and has been drawing for years, ever since her introduction to Steven Universe and Voltron Legendary Defender.

SENIOR EDITOR

Lucy Samuels (they/she)

Lucy Samuels is a junior from Atlanta, GA studying Film and Creative Writing. They are always listening to either music, podcast, or audiobooks and are always on the look for new things to listen to. They mainly enjoy watching and writing about TV and Film, especially if it's animated.

STAFF ADVISOR

Abby Igoe (she/they)

Abby Igoe is the Assistant Director of Multimedia Projects in the School of Communications, where she works as a video producer, serves as WSOE advisor, and oversees Turner Theatre. Abby supports students through all stages of production. She leads workshops in advanced camera operation, lighting, video editing, and color grading.

 

Prior to Elon, Abby has worked in journalism, documentary, and digital magazine production. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she studied photojournalism and fell in love with the local music scene.
